Take the picture...No matter if you already have hundreds. 41 years ago, I would have never imagined how much this picture would mean to me now. I remember this day so well. I was 4 1/2 years old. I had an outfit with corduroy pants that matched this shirt’s collar. I can remember walking through the yard and hearing the sounds the corduroy pants made when I walked. I loved this outfit. We went to a local store (Super D or the drug store) to get pictures made. I loved my Daddy...can’t you tell from the smile. :). Not long after this picture, my Daddy died. I don’t think that I have other pics with Daddy after this one. I might, but this is the one that I vividly remember. (And now, I can’t stand the feel or sound of corduroy.) This picture is so many things to me now. One of those things is to remind me how very thankful that I am that my babies have a Daddy in their life. Treasure every moment!!! Make all the memories. Don’t wait until tomorrow because tomorrow may never come. Live and love BIG!
